Fundamentals Squirrel Proof Bird Feeder

So long squirrels! Our Fundamentals Squirrel-Proof Bird Feeder is weight-sensitive, so when a squirrel gets on the feeder the feeding ports close, denying access to the seed. Birds can use the four perches, or they can cling to the metal shroud to feed.

Yankee Flipper

The seed tube is generous in height, making it impossible for squirrels to hang down from the top and reach seed. The four feeding ports are easily accessible via the perch ring, and the interior of the chamber is designed to direct seed into the seed ports. Birds will not set it off, not even larger species like Woodpeckers and Cardinals. But the minute a squirrel hops on to the perch, the motor is triggered and the feeder begins spinning, taking the squirrel for a whirl before it loses its grip and is thrown gently from the perch. The heavy metal cap fits snugly on the tube to prevent squirrels from lifting it to reach the seed. The clear feeder tube makes the seed visible to the birds, a proven advantage. Made of UV Stabilized Polycarbonate, it ensures long lasting durability without yellowing, Its length and girth are designed to prevent squirrels from reaching the seed ports. With a large 5 lb. capacity, you don't need to refill your feeder every day. An internal baffle design keeps seed flowing freely to the ports. With the metal top and base powder coated in Forest Green, the Flipper looks great in any yard. Yankee Whipper

The Whipper features four seed ports with individual weight sensitive perches. The curved perch positioning encourages cardinals and small songbirds to eat, but prevents squirrels from feeding. Each perch is individually sprung and calibrated for birds up to the weight of a cardinal (approx. 2 oz.). Length and girth of the feeder are specific to repelling squirrels. The heavy metal cap is constructed to prevent squirrels from raising the cap and reaching the seed inside. An internal baffle design delivers the seed to the ports. The 4-3/4 inch x 21 inch clear feeder tube is made of UV stabilized polycarbonate for long lasting durability without yellowing.  The Whipper hangs from a looped stainless steel wire that reduces motion that would spill seed. Add a Locking Chain to secure it against falls.
